INTERNAL PRE-SALES CONSULTANT

THE ROLE:
The successful candidate will provide a high quality, technical internal desk based pre-sales & design function in our clients Network Infrastructure Practice. You will develop opportunities and win business for this sector and The Company, working closely with the Sales Team.
You will work on Nets & Comms related Projects, working closely with Project Management where relevant, co-ordinating resources and activities to deliver a successful, timely implementation in order to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction.

Cisco CCNA Certification (essential)
IP Telephony Solutions (desirable)

Ability to work well within a team, motivating colleagues, monitoring progress to the budget, troubleshooting as required, to ensure successful delivery of the Nets & Comms related projects.
Ability to demonstrate use of initiative, with good analytical skills to evaluate, resolve and escalate issues promptly and appropriately to the Practice Manager, Hosting or any relevant party.
An excellent command of English, both written and oral to achieve a high standard of written work for technical documentation.
KEY DUTIES:
Internal Pre Sales Support for the Sales Team, responding to resource requests and working with them to win business. Ensuring the Sales Team feel supported (on qualified opportunities) in their bid for orders and success.
To produce High Level Designs and Schedule of Works on Network Solutions.
For all pre-sales design ensure appropriate technical documentation is created, the coordination of project tasks, the monitoring of progress, relevant escalations to the Practice Manager, Project Manager or Professional Services
Manager, good Customer care, good standards of liaison and good internal communication within the company.
Due consideration should be given to the suitability of the design generated, to ensure it can be effectively supported and managed for the life of the contract, is crucial.
The delivery of a high standard of documentation is a key function of this role, from the ensuring/generation of Design Documentation.
To work closely with Sales Managers to explore and exploit opportunities with customers for added value business.
To work with Product Managers/Technical Directors to develop/sustain up to date product strategies for their relevant practice to be included in technical solutions.
To provide support assistance to the Support Department on request by the Professional Services Manager on an ongoing basis.
To adhere to business processes and documentation standards in order to control outputs to customers and maintain management information systems. This will include the maintenance of time recording systems.
