Steph Lunn

Senior Consultant

Steph joined us in 2010, having previously worked in IT recruitment, marketing and retail. Steph has an MA Hons degree in Philosophy from St Andrews University. Her role at Blues Point entails managing our delivery team and supporting candidates through the recruitment process.

Interesting fact: Steph also works as a freelance writer, mostly within the wine industry but she also writes many of the blogs here on our site.

Joseph Wheeler

Marketing Executive

Joseph has a background in marketing and graduated from the University of Derby in 2017 with a Joint Honours in Professional Writing with Creative Writing. His role consists of creating interesting and informative content for our clients and candidates.

Interesting fact: In his spare time, Joseph enjoys reading comics, playing video games and going to live music events.

Alex Handford

Director

A graduate of Derby University and holding Practitioner status in Personality Profiling, Emotional Intelligence and Motivational Mapping, helping clients understand what a candidate’s CV doesn’t say, to understand their fit for your team.

Interesting fact: Alex has four children and a Bengal cat called Merlin. When he does have some free time, he likes to spend it listening to his large vinyl music collection.

Matt Byrne

Director

Matt has worked in the employee engagement and recruitment industry since 2000, and is a co-founder and director of Blues Point. He has a degree in French from Durham University and is a qualified chartered accountant. He looks after the financial and legal aspects of the business.

Interesting fact: Matt used to live in Blues Point, which is in Sydney, in 1998. Hence the name!
