Behavioural Assessments – IT Recruitment Services
Providing evidence for why a candidate is an ideal fit for your company is large part of what we do here at Blues Point. And one of the ways we can do this is through the use of behavioural assessments. We offer a number of behavioural assessments, all of which cater to different requirements.
Whether you want to know, for example, if your potential next hire will be a good cultural fit, or if they have the emotional intelligence required to be effective in a managerial role, we can help.
Behavioural assessments aren’t only useful when hiring, you can also use them to reveal valuable information about your current staff. This information will help you to adopt a more personalised management style and better cater to their true motivations.
Behavioural Assessments We Offer
Thomas PPA (DISC)
The Thomas Personal Profile Analysis (PPA) is a DISC assessment which looks at 4 key areas of your candidate’s behaviour in a working environment: Dominance, Influence, Steadiness and Compliance.
This behavioural assessment is particularly useful when trying to gauge whether a candidate will be a good cultural fit for your company.
The Thomas General Intelligence Assessment (GIA) is split into five separate sections which measure reasoning, perceptual speed, number speed & accuracy, word meaning and spatial visualisation.
This assessment is designed to give you a better understanding of how quickly your candidate learns and picks up new things.
The Thomas High Potential Trait Indicator (HPTI) is made up of 78 questions and measures candidates in 6 key areas: Knowledge, Skills, Motivation, Values and Intelligence.
This assessment is an effective tool for getting an idea of somebody’s management style before they are put in a position of authority.
The Thomas Trait Emotional Intelligence Questionnaire (TEIQue) looks at 15 areas of a candidate’s relationship with their emotions. This includes aspects such as well-being, self-esteem and emotion regulation.
This assessment is particularly helpful when recruiting or managing somebody who needs to be communicative, whether that be with colleagues or customers.
Motivational Maps look at what is really important to your candidates or existing team members. They provide a snapshot into what really matters to them and are a brilliant tool for tailoring your management style to individuals.
Motivational Maps are useful when used on an on-going basis as candidates motivations will often change, more-so than other characteristics such as behaviours.
