Essential Experience / Technical Requirements
-MS Azure
-Office 365, including design & implementation of O365 migrations, including Hybrid configurations
-Design and implementation of solutions to fulfil a customer’s requirements
-Microsoft Active Directory.
-Strong experience with virtualisation technologies (VMWare)
Our client is looking for a technical consultant to join their team. This is a Birmingham based position with travel to other sites. You will be a key part of a specialist technical team, responsible for delivering infrastructure and cloud solutions to new and existing clients. The role will provide an opportunity to build on your existing strong technical background and to obtain practical experience of industry standard solutions and services.
Responsibilities
Including but not limited to: –
-Deliver bespoke technical projects, covering the full project life cycle including design, specification, deployment, documentation and support.
-Provide support to customers as and when required and provide guidance/direction/skills transfer to other members of the team.
-Research and recommend new technologies to the business and its customers.
-Ability to work under pressure and to tight timescales.
-All other tasks as may be required to fulfil the role, or as are necessary at the time. Additional duties will be discussed with you by your manager or a director.
Desirable Experience/ Technical Requirements
-Experience with AWS
-Identity and access management technologies.
-Microsoft server operating systems.
-Microsoft Exchange.
-WAN/LAN technologies.
-Microsoft desktop operating systems.
Additional Skills
-Achieved, or be working towards, a Microsoft cloud certification.
-VMware or Microsoft server and/or desktop virtualisation experience.
-Good understanding of enterprise storage solutions and systems.
-Experience of project management along with technical documentation and reporting.

Permanent: Full-time role – Hours 9-5:30pm (7.5 hours work, 1hr unpaid lunch break)
Based in: Home-based but must be close to Birmingham and available to travel.
Salary: To ££45,000 + benefits
